Understanding The Law Of Attraction
Achieve
Inner Peace and Happiness
Everyone wants to be happy, but not very many
will say they truly are, and still fewer could say they even
know how to get there. Why is this? Why do so many
people have trouble achieving a goal that everybody shares? And how do
you break out of the quiet desperation that seems to be the
norm and find your own way to happiness?
People are unhappy when they base their happiness on an event
outside of the present moment - now. Basing happiness on something
that happened in the past or the concern for something that
may or may not happen in the future keeps you forever
stuck living there, unable to live your life in the present moment
much less enjoy and appreciate it.
Having unpleasant experiences are a part of life. They are
necessary tools for growing and developing into the fullness
of your potential, for building your character and identity.
The experiences of your past are how you develop preferences,
that all-important power of discernment that enables you to
know what you do and don't like, what you do and don't want
out of life, that informs every choice you make.
To
free yourself of the stranglehold your past has on your present
happiness, simply realize its irreplaceable value on
your development. Forgive what and whom needs forgiveness (most
especially yourself), and move on to being grateful for living
the life you've lived and having the experiences you've had.
That's the past. Now let's move on, past the present for a
moment, to the future.
Having desires is one thing. They are a necessary fuel for
life. But waiting for those things to happen before allowing
yourself to be happy is a fruitless treadmill. That's Gratification,
not Happiness. Gratification is an endless rat race where finding
that little hunk of cheese only makes you hungrier for another.
Happiness is a state of being.
Better instead to decide to be happy now and allow the things
you want to come to you. When you decide to be happy with life,
the journey, the process, then no matter what temporary destinations
you hit along the way, you will enjoy them for what they are.
You will find the joy in them.
And the biggest reward, the one that no amount of plotting
and planning and hard work can achieve, is that the universe
bends to your new energetic vibration of inward happiness and
starts sending you more and more things to be happy about.
Real happiness, the kind that endures, is a state of being,
independent of circumstances. Happiness does not come from
your life circumstances and situations, it comes from what
you do with the circumstances and situations presented to you,
with the thoughts and feelings you have about your life.
Here's an idea: if you find yourself mistaking Gratification
for Happiness, then try removing the word Happiness your vocabulary
altogether, and start seeking Inner Peace instead. Because,
believe you me, once you achieve Inner Peace, you will be Happy.
