Help Me Get Rid Of My Hemorrhoids
What
Are Hemorrhoids?
Hemorrhoids refer to a condition whereby the
veins in the anus and/or the lower rectum area become inflamed,
swollen and enlarged. This can be a very painful condition
for those who develop it. Another way to describe hemorrhoids
is that they are cushions that are composed of blood vessels
as well as muscle in the areas previously mentioned. Connective
tissue is also an element of hemorrhoids.
The development of hemorrhoids is from two different areas
of the human body. There are two distinct categories of veins
that work to drain blood from the anus as well as the rectum.
When talking about hemorrhoids, there are two varieties. There
are the internal hemorrhoids and the external ones.
When the internal veins become inflamed and swollen this can
cause the development of internal hemorrhoids. These types
can be found inside the rectum. In most cases hemorrhoids internal
cannot be felt by the person who has developed them and they
cannot be seen either. However in rare cases if they are severe
enough then they will be evident and may cause a certain modicum
of pain. Hemorrhoids internal can protrude or prolapse through
the anus but this does not take place in every instance.
The external veins can become swollen and lead to the formation
of external hemorrhoids. This type of hemorrhoid(s) develops
at the outer edge of the anus and often can be seen with the
human eye and can be felt by the individual. In most instances
this kind causes a great deal of discomfort. Both internal
and external hemorrhoids can range in size from small to medium
to large. It is even possible to have a combination thereof.
If you develop hemorrhoids then it is important that you seek
out a hemorrhoid treatment such as a hemorrhoid cream right
away. Hemorrhoid relief may be no further away than your bathroom
or kitchen cupboard if you seek out a hemorrhoid home treatment
which can be equally effective as any other kind of treatment
you may find at the drugstore.
One of the most common symptoms of hemorrhoids is bleeding.
This is the case for both internal as well as external ones.
The pain from hemorrhoids is the result of clotting in a vein.
Another term for clotting in this case is thrombosis. While
bleeding does not always accompany hemorrhoids, the more you
have and the larger they are, the more likely you are to have
bleeding because of the level of irritation they cause. Sufferers
often will experience pain when having a bowel movement and
may notice blood on the toilet paper afterwards.
If you have hemorrhoids that have prolapsed then you might
also experience other less than desirable hemorrhoid symptoms
which include the discharge of mucous and anal itching. Hemorrhoids
are no fun for anyone. Some people may develop them only once
in their lives while others may have them develop more than
once. It is worth noting that while hemorrhoids are uncomfortable,
they rarely cause any permanent damage.
