Help Me Get Rid Of My Hemorrhoids
How
To Prevent & Stop Hemorrhoids
If
you do not presently have hemorrhoids then you will be glad
to know that there are some things that you
can do to help prevent the onset of them. After all, hemorrhoids
is not an enviable condition by any means! If you do have hemorrhoids
and you want to do more than just use a hemorrhoid cream then
there are ways that you can prevent flare-ups from affecting
your life. Anyone who has experienced hemorrhoids knows that
they often do not go away completely but do flare up from time
to time and can spell discomfort for the individual.
What
then can you do in terms of preventative hemorrhoid treatment?
The first thing you can do is very simple - alter your
diet to reflect a healthier approach. Specifically you need to add
more fiber or bran to your daily diet. The roughage will allow
your bowels to work better and will prevent constipation from
occurring.
Foods
that are processed or very refined and high in sugar contain
very little fiber. The same can be said for foods that
contain a high percentage of animal fat. These kinds of foods
do not help your intestines to work as well as they should.
To put it another way, stools can pass without any problem
if you supply your body with enough roughage through the foods
you eat. This also leads to less straining when you use the
toilet.
What
you need to do then is to consume more whole grains,
fruits, vegetables and bran products. Stay away from foods
that can
cause problems such as diarrhea, flatulence gas or indigestion.
Be kind to your digestive system and it in turn will be good
to you. Drinking
more water on a regular basis is another way to soften
up your stools and make them more comfortable. Not only will
this minimize straining but it will also be much less likely
to irritate any hemorrhoids that you already have. Think of
modifying your diet as a type of external hemorrhoid treatment
and an internal hemorrhoid treatment.
A hemorrhoids natural treatment that many people do not think
about is to alter their bowel habits. In other words, if you
feel that you need to use the toilet then do not hold it but
find your way to the bathroom and do what you need to do right
away. If you wait too long then your stools will get harder
and become drier and this can cause discomfort.
It is essential that you do not spend too much time sitting
on the toilet. As well do not get into the habit of reading
on the toilet. If you do either of these things then straining
is more likely. Sit down, do what you need to do and then get
off the toilet. On average it should take you no more than
two to five minutes for a stool to pass. In some cases it will
be an even shorter period of time. Once you have finished,
wipe your anus gently but thoroughly. Wipe from front to back.
This is a natural hemorrhoid treatment that can make a great
deal of difference for everyone. # # # # #
