I've grown to call it. Would you mind if I take
a minute to share a few thoughts with you & get some
feedback? Cool. :)
Back in 1998,
I launched SYP with the vision of creating a personal
growth, self
improvement and self-help hub (now
referred to as a "portal"). Everyone's got a
problem or two in this world so I thought "hey, how
about empowering people to help themselves in the privacy
of their own home." The name SolveYourProblem was
born soon thereafter and seven years later SYP is more
popular than ever.
To those who
have visited SYP over the years, you have seen its evolution
from a very simple search engine into
a comprehensive portal featuring articles, advice, books,
eLearning guides, and a whole lot more. To tell you the
truth, I've got about 25 new ideas in my head so I hope
you'll
continue to come back often and and tell your friends.
How do I keep
the site free?
You'll notice
text based sponsor ads and product ads
on each page throughout the site. The revenue from both
of these sources allow
me to spend my time
creating
and
gathering
even
more
practical,
helpful
content.
I've
done
my very best
to
make
the ads
related
to the
topic
you
are
seeking
an
answer
to (some topics are easier than others). You'll
find
NO popups, pop unders, full page interstitials or obnoxiously
flashy full page banners that drive most people crazy.
Want
a hint as to what's coming soon & how you can
help?
The internet is essentially a form of media, right? One
that is transforming so fast it's absolutely crazy. Well,
I'd like to take advantage of this.
How, you ask?
Multi-media content.
I am seeking
a little help with this. If you've got an area of expertise
in personal
growth or self improvement
PLUS multi-media content (audio and/or video) in the form
of tutorials, books, articles, etc., I like to create a
mutually beneficial relationship with you. I think anyone
visiting SYP would be rewarded immensely by free or paid
audio and video content that they can play while visiting
SYP, your web site or "on the go" on an iPod.
If you don't have multi-media content, but know someone
who does - let me know.
